Membrane is used in biochemical work for ultrafiltration and dialysis. Made of natural, pure regenerated cellulose. Contains no fixed charges. Molecular weight cut-off is 6,000 to 8,000. Membrane does have a few impurities and glycerine which are removed by washing. If roll is maintained carefully, porosity throughout roll is very uniform. Over a period of months, membrane will only change slowly if kept refrigerated in original polyethylene bag. Supplied in 100 ft. rolls except 10, 100 and 120 mm sizes which come in 50 ft. rolls.
