Normal dialysis time is reduced by one-third to one-half compared to Spectra/Por 1. Membrane is used in biochemical work for ultrafiltration and dialysis. Made of natural, pure regenerated cellulose. Contains no fixed charges. Membrane does have a few impurities and glycerine which are removed by washing. If roll is maintained carefully, porosity throughout roll is very uniform. Over a period of months, membrane will only change slowly if kept refrigerated in original polyethylene bag. Molecular weight cut-off is 12,000 to 14,000. 50 ft. in each box.
