Controlled Atmosphere Chamber
This acrylic glove box with transfer chamber can be used as a controlled environment or anaerobic chamber. The catalyst heater maintains the incubation temperature at 37°C. Any trace amounts of oxygen that may enter the chamber is reduced to water vapor by the catalyst heater. The drying train (silica gel desiccant) removes the water vapor as needed. The drying train can be changed without disturbing the internal atmosphere. When introducing materials into the unit, the inner door on the transfer chamber opens automatically once the pressures are neutralized between the two compartments. The unit has adjustable clamps between the clear acrylic hood and thermoset base, two vacuum pressure pumps (one for the transfer chamber and the other for the drying train), a fluorescent light system, illuminated controls, and four ground key cock valves for purging. Dimensions for the main chamber are 41" L x 28" W x 26"H. The transfer unit is 12" L x 11" I.D. and has an adjustable vacuum gauge and a leveling tray for transferring liquids into the work chamber. With CSA approved electrical outlet strip. Overall dimensions are 35" L x 55" W x 38" H. Supplied with ambidextrous Hypalon gloves. Glove port plugs are available separately to use when gloves need to be changed. An anti-static unit for static control/elimination is also available. 110 volt. Warranty 1 year.
