These Metallurgical Microscopes, with incident illumination, are perfect for work with opaque samples. Model 1241MM comes with only reflected illumination; Model 1242MM comes with both reflected and transmitted illumination.

  • Graduated coaxial coarse/fine focus controls; tension adjust and up-stop mechanisms.
  • Extra large, graduated, integrated mechanical stage.
  • 4X, 10X, 20X and 40X plan achromatic objectives set in a reversed quadruple objective turret.
  • Inclined 360° rotatable head with 10X Wide-Field eyepieces; interpupilliary and diopter adjustment mechanisms.
  • 20 W variable quartz halogen for both transmitted and reflected illumination.
  • Centerable field diaphragm for Kohler illumination.
  • Rack and pinion substage with centerable 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser, iris diaphragm, and swing-in colour filter.
