  • Quickly inactivates DNA and RNA between experiments with UV.

  • Easy-clean surface resists growth of destructive bacteria.
  • Antimicrobial coating is stain and fingerprint resistant.
  • UV operates with a key switch to prevent accidental irradiation of samples.
  • Safety shut-off switch automatically turns the ultraviolet light off when the door is open.
  • The HEPA/UV PCR Workstation features a four-stage filter system, plus 254nm shortwave UV built into the duct, that circulates filtered and sterile air into the PCR chamber via laminar air flow.
  • 3/8" acrylic enclosure is UV and beta-blocking and effective for protection against 32P labelled compounds.
  • Bi-fold hinged door flips up for easy access to the work area.
  • Workstation is designed for placement of large instruments on the base work area as well as tubes, flasks and pipettes on the two removable shelves.
  • Built-in power outlets allow operation of equipment for use in PCR applications.
  • Light sources: one 254 nm, 8 watt UV tube.
  • Power: 115V

An optional UV/Air Circulator is available for continuous recirculation of sterilized air inside the PCR hood. The optional work table is 30.3"W x 23.3"D x 34.7"H.
