BioDoc-It® system is an all-in-one, dedicated gel documentation workstation for fluorescent and colorimetric imaging. The BioDoc-It® system offers the ability to save images to the USB drive (included) to download images to a PC for later analysis with optional Doc-ItLS Analysis Software.

System components include:

  • FluorCam camera, monochrome, zoom lens with close-up diopter.
  • Integrated Monitor with 8 inch LCD flat "touch" screen that tilts for optimum viewing angle and live preview of images.
  • Touchpad control of 17 integration times, image exposure, save options (tiff or jpeg) and oversaturation warning.
  • Integrated software provides simplicity for capturing and saving images.
  • USB device connector features easy plug and play installation, high-speed data transfer, MAC and PC compatible.
  • Darkroom enclosure features overhead LED white light with Hi/Lo settings, wide access door with UV safety switch, and gel viewer window.
  • Ethidium Bromide Emission Filter (others available).
  • 302nm UV benchtop transilluminator with 20 x20 cm (M-20) or 21 x 26 cm (M-26) work area.
  • Cat. #616-300-06 and 616-300-08 comes with side access doors that allow user to cut or move gels without opening the front door.
  • Compact Design — 12.7 " x 14 " benchtop area required.
  • Timestamp images to show date and time for each image captured. Also use the "live" mode to preview the gel.
  • Power: 115V. CSA Approved.

CCD Fluor Camera is a non-cooled composite monochrome type with on-chip interline transfer CCD.

Optional digital thermal printer for use with the system provides archive quality, 256 gray scale thermal prints in four seconds.
