Fluorescent Indicator Adsorption Column
Used to determine saturates, non-aromatic olefins, and aromatics in petroleum fractions that distill below 600°F (315°C) as specified in ASTM D-1319 Standard Method for Hydrocarbon Types in Liquid Petroleum Products by Fluorescent Indicator Adsorption. The standard column is drawn to a fine point for retaining silica gel. The precision bore column has a removable tip joined to the analyzer section by a 12/2 spherical joint. This product comes in two sections. The top section which has the 28/12 socket joint is about 415 mm long, then there is a lower section (capillary tip), that is 1215 mm long. The tygon tubing that is included is what holds the two pieces together. (ASTM D-1319)
