Needle is for waxes having penetration no greater than 250. In accordance with ASTM specification D1321. Point is tapered and blunt at tip of truncated cone. Stainless steel is hardened and highly polished. Shaft is drilled out. Needle is approximately 83 mm long x 3.2 mm diameter. Weight 2.5 g.
