Circular and tapping motion given testing sieves in hand-shaking is reproduced, but with a mechanical, uniform action. This assures comparable and accurate results with a uniformity that is not obtainable in hand-testing. This RO-TAP® shaker will separate as many as 13 different samplings with half-height sieves. Totally enclosed 1/4-hp motor is mounted vertically. OSHA requirements are met. May be mounted on any solid table by two bolts. Minimum lubrication is needed, making it virtually maintenance-free for many years. An automatic 30-minute timer is included to obtain comparable results between two or more tests. At the end of the test period, timer will shut unit off. For 110 volt, 60 Hz, single phase current. Dimensions 25"H x 28"W x 21"D. Shipping weight 200 lbs. Warranty: 1 year.

Water Test Sieving Kit:
Allows for testing in wet environment when material is not soluble in water. For use with W.S. Tyler™ RO-TAP® (Cat. No. 785-100-70) sieve shaker and 8" diameter test sieves.
