For use with flexible plastic tubing. Excellent for applications where tubing is frequently removed. Autoclavable, may distort during autoclaving. Polypropylene body; acetal sleeve, stainless steel springs and latches, EPR seal. Combines easy leakproof connection with Softube ends and one-handed disconnection using a positive latch action. No tools or clamps are needed. Spring-loaded valve stops fluid flow when fitting halves are separated. Maximum working pressure, psig/bar: 120/8.2 @ 75°F/23°C. Working pressure is limited by the tubing and is usually lower than this number. Refer to your tubing's technical specifications.
