Designed for sampling animal carcasses to test for the presence of E. coli. The sponge is moistened with half of the buffered peptone water. Wipe the carcass through the special template in three places, using both sides of the sponge. Add the remaining diluent to the bag and sponge, and the sample is ready for testing. The disposable template eliminates the need to resanitize templates made from other materials, saving time and money. The gloves and template are sterile. Kit contains: a Whirl-Pak® “Speci-Sponge®” bag, a pair of gloves, a template, and 25 ml of buffered peptone water. Packaged 25 kits per box.
