Made to facilitate measurements in the field without compromising accuracy.
Test the pH of soil directly or after preparation of a diluted sample.
pH range: -2.00 to 16.00 ±0.02 pH.
Temperature range: -5.0 to 105.0ºC (23.0 to 221.0ºF) ±0.5ºC (up to 60ºC), ±1ºC (outside). Automatic temperature compensation.
pH calibration: automatic, 1 or 2 point with 2 sets of memorized buffers (pH 4.01/7.01/10.01 or 4.01/6.86/9.18).
To measure the pH directly, the kit includes a plastic auger to perforate the ground.
pH electrode has been designed for direct soil measurement. It has a conic, rugged tip and can be directly inserted in moist or soft soil. Electrode incorporates a temperature sensor right near the tip to enable it to measure and compensate for the temperature quickly.
Electrode has a refillable glass body with internal temperature sensor, DIN connector and 1m cable.
For higher degrees of accuracy, or for stony ground where the electrode may be damaged, use the specially made soil preparation solution (Cat. #960-790-32). This solution is included in the kit to help you measure pH more precisely by diluting a sample of the soil in it.
Dual-level LCD shows the pH value and temperature simultaneously.
Menu-driven custom microprocessor helps the user with clear prompts during operation and calibration.
Battery lasts approximately 1500 hours of continuous use.
Auto-off after 8 minutes of inactivity.
Operating temperature: 0 to 50ºC (32 to 122ºF); RH max. 100%.
Kit comes with pH electrode, ground auger, soil preparation solution, pH 4 and pH 7 buffer sachets, 25 x 20ml cleaning solution sachets for inorganic soil deposits, 25 x 20ml cleaning solution sachets for organic soil deposits, 3xAA batteries, rugged carrying case and instructions.
