The Shopping Cart and Check Out

The items in your shopping cart will be saved for 120 days. Each time you view the contents, the price and delivery is updated.

Check out is divided into 5 steps. You can modify your order at any point in the process by clicking the "Shopping Cart” tab. Any billing and shipping selections that you’ve made will be saved until the order is placed, or the cart is cleared. You can also create default selections to make future orders easier to place.

Step 1
Enter a purchase order number (optional).

Check the type of tax being charged. For new customers, the default taxes are based on your location. If your organization is exempt tax, please provide details. We will verify your exempt status when we process your order, and update your account for future transactions.

Step 2
Choose a shipping address from your list or add a new address.

Choose a shipping method. The cost of shipping is not calculated until the time of shipping. You will be billed the cost of the shipping and insurance with the carrier you specify, unless you choose one of the collect carriers. Canadawide does not add handling charges to shipments.

If you require a firm cost for the shipping before your order is processed, please check the field "Call with cost of shipping before processing". We will contact you with the price. The order will not be processed until you have agreed to the cost of shipping by phone or email.

If you choose to have a shipment sent collect, you will be required to provide your carrier account number. Collect shipments will not be insured unless specifically requested by you in the shipping instructions.

Step 3
Choose how you would like your order processed. Shipping charges apply to each shipment. The options help you to reduce your shipping costs. If none of the options are exactly what you need, please provide additional details in the “special shipping instructions” box.

Step 4
Choose a billing address and a payment method from your list, or create new ones.

Step 5
To place your order click submit. If you would like to make changes to the order, click the "Shopping Cart" tab. Your billing and shipping selections will be saved until you place your order or clear your cart.

General Information
Once you submit your order, you can view the details by going to your account and selecting order history. The order is transmitted to Canadawide immediately. If you need to make a change, call our sales department as soon as possible. Most orders received before 2:30 p.m. eastern time are shipped the same day.

Stock items are allocated as orders are received and may not be available at the time your order is processed. For out of stock items, estimated shipping dates are based on past history and may change due to availability from the manufacturer.

An acknowledgement will be sent to you with accurate delivery information. Our customer service staff will review any delays to the expected shipping date for your order and you will be notified.

You can also review your orders online to see the status. When an item is shipped, a tracking number will be available in the shipping detail.
